Damn this is an excellent story! Please finish it! 

 Question, is there a part two to this story?

Ugh oh!!!!

I wanted to review every single one of the chapters of this story as I read it because I wanted to react as I went through it, but I read 95% of this story on my mobile phone and it is very tedious trying to write reviews on the tiny touchscreen keyboard. I told myself I would go back and review every single one once I returned home but, alas, I became busy and just very tired from work and eventually forgot what each chapter covered and was not able to write proper reviews.

Now that I've finished reading up to the 30th and latest installment, I can finally leave a review! 

I want you to know I spent 4 days reading through your story. I am completely obsessed with it. I had no life for the last 4 days, I felt like not going to work, and cut gym time all so I could snuggle into my bed and read your epic Fuffy story.

It is honestly incredible. I am speechless. I saw all the Fuffy fanfic awards you received for the story, and I can say I completely understand why you won all this recognition. You are so true to the depiction of the characters and how they would behave in a setting such as that which you story places them in.

You execute perfect characterization (everyone is in-character), interesting plot (all the greek mythology and prophecies and general progression of the storyline), nice pacing (I personally am a fan of the deliciously torturous slowburn, so having Faith and Buffy take forever to get together is right up my alley), spot-on tone/mood of the show (you make reading this story feel like watching a Buffy episode, with all the lightheartedness and gravity of different situations interspersed in a cogent manner), pleasant flow (I like how take the time to really write out scenes in detail and don't half-ass scenes that don't contain the Fuffy; you treat all scenes with equal love), and lastly, very good grammar, spelling, and punctuation (you'd be surprised how many writers with good stories still mess up the structure of their writing).

I wanted to take the time to congratulate you on penning such a well-thought out and well-written story. I have enjoyed it immensely. You writing has pulled some serious emotions out of me.

I ached so much for Faith when she was pining for Buffy, and sympathized with her struggle of loving Buffy but not wanting to be together with her because, according to Faith, Buffy makes her act crazy and lose control of herself. I love how you characterize Faith as, basically, "madly" in love with Buffy, to the point where Faith sees pursuing a relationship with Buffy as detrimental to her mental health. I think it's so romantic how Faith doesn't allow herself to have Buffy. I personally like my OTP pining after one another for a long time, developing their friendship/relationship, and proving their love to one another time and again before we, as the readers, get the payoff of seeing their happily ever after. I believe all the heartache, struggle, trial, and tribulations make their final coupling all the more satisfying and rewarding to see.

If I have any complaints at all, it would just be that Buffy needs to be getting ready to make up her mind soon. I know in the latest chapter, she is not sure if Faith has fully left Troy, but Buffy comes off to me as wanting both Faith and Toni, but seeing as how this is a Fuffy story, Buffy's seemingly genuine romantic feelings for Toni irk me a little. I remember in earlier chapters Buffy was ready to drop everything and everyone for Faith if Faith left Troy, but now that Faith has left Troy (at least physically speaking), I thought Buffy would at least offer to drop Tony as an incentive for Faith to believe that Buffy really wants to honestly start a relationship with Faith.  I think Faith needs more from Buffy, and Buffy needs to be less indecisive and set her sight on a clearer picture of what she wants for  her life and who she wants to share that life with. So, in short, Buffy is being a little unfair to Faith, and while I was okay with the cheating (on both their parts) as part of the necessary development, now that Faith is seemingly unattached, I would think it would make sense for Buffy to try her best to convince Faith to be with her (and drop Toni). At the same time, I do understand that Buffy probably does not want to drop Toni just yet and keeps her as a safety in case Faith goes back to Troy's arms, but I just felt like it would have been more in-character for Buffy to at least make the suggestion that now that Faith was available, Buffy would be willing to break it off with Toni to become fully committed to Faith. I think Faith needs that grand gesture of love from Buffy. Faith acts very tough, badass, and fuckall, but she is such a fragile puppy when it comes to Buffy. Faith is insecure, jealous, petty, pining, and possessive. 

I actually like these traits as a starting point for character development, and I hope Buffy can show Faith so much love that Faith stops doubting her and begins to trust her implicitly. Buffy, of course, also needs to grow in the sense that she needs to be able to see past who Faith used to be ("crazy psycho killer bitch" that went after her when they were teenagers) and see who Faith is now, more clearly, and stop judging her; also, Buffy needs to learn to be brave enough to accept AND admit she is in love with a girl, and that girl is Faith. 

I always think it is so adorable when two characters fall in love in spite of gender, and all the difficulties that tag along with coming to terms with it. My personal headcanon is that Faith is bisexual, but she doesn't really dip into the female pool because no girl has caught her interest ever (except our headstrong, quirky heroine Buffy), so my thinking is that Faith dismisses other girls because they have never shown her another interesting side to them like Buffy has to Faith. I think Faith really digs that Buffy can be girly yet at the same time very dominant and aggressive due to her Slayer background. With someone as pure, noble, strong, funny, stubborn, and kind as Buffy, it really could not be helped that Faith would fall in love with her! And our poor Faith has suffered so much for her love, it's understandable she wanted to leave Buffy behind and move on with Troy to try and improve herself.

I find it interesting that Faith, despite her rocky feelings for Buffy, still is very adamant about keeping Buffy in her life, in any capacity if not as a lover. I thought the scene where Buffy was planning to drive away but Faith wrecked her own car to prevent Buffy from leaving was very telling of Faith's emotional state. Faith breaking down over the mere IDEA of never seeing Buffy in her life again was also very revealing of her true feelings for Buffy. 

Finally, I really hope Faith and Buffy have a biological prophecy child together! I'm so worried because Troy actually ejaculated inside Faith when Faith screamed out Buffy's name when Buffy burst into the room in a panic. I really hope that, somehow, Faith screaming out Buffy's name might have made the child biologically Buffy's since that's who Faith truly "opened up" her heart (and hence her fertility) to??? I don't know. I just don't want a yucky Troy-Faith child.

But, it is your story, and whatever you decide, I will happily read. I don't like when reviewers beg authors for a certain development. For the most part, authors have an idea of how and where they want things to go. I think readers are mainly here to give feedback to the author on how they feel about what has occurred in the story. What the author does with that feedback is entirely up to them. I have seen so many stories ruined because authors wanted to pander to reviewers' wishes. And, while it is true that you should always have your audience in mind, never let them influence your writing so much that you lose sight of your original plans for the storyline and endgame.

Once again, thank you for writing this AWESOME story. I hope the next chapter is up soon. The wait will be torture, but this story is worth every second of my patience.

P.S. I am also a HUGE FAN of your Rachel/Quinn "Halo" stories. I hope you update those soon, as well. I actually knew your pen name from the Glee fandom before I got into the Buffy fandom (I'm a veteran Glee fandom reader for Quinn/Rachel and Santana/Brittany, but very new to the Fuffy fandom; I'm so happy amazing authors like you wrote for the Fuffy pairing so early on! Buffy and Faith have so much potential!)

Oh my gosh! This story is amazing. The characterisation, and storyline, it's epic. It made me feel emotions I never want to feel but it was so good. My stomach twisted and lurched with jealousy and fury reading that Faith would choose Troy over Buffy, and warmth when Buffy and Faith gave in to their love. 

 

I can't wait to see how this continues to play out.

Yay the potential big battle is finally here! Which hopefully means that T&T can go away! So over them and all this back and forth between fuffy. Extended angst always makes my head hurt.

I remember reading that fic a long time ago.. i think it'S the BEST writing ever made of the serie ! I totally fell in love with the character of Toni.... really wish it ends with a B/T instead of a B/F which is weird in itself when u seek to read b/f fic.. usually i never read stories with (how do you call that?? ) «homemade» character, but ur just too good that way! (flowers trowings ur way. be carefull, it's a truck full!) I'm reading this all over again and still «freakin'awesome» (yeah! say it like in one word and with some attitude to it).
