How the heck is buffy supposed to know her last name without reading her mind, going through her mail perhaps...birth certificate. Sigh...I'm just tired of these dramtastic young women. lol. I know it's not exactly unrealistic but god, does Buffy ever make things harder than they need to be. And since when does she not know how to command the Scoobies attention when she really wants to? I'm going to go with a combo of them having some deep-seated (seeded?) need to be purposely dense like when she was schtupping Spike all over Creation, and her not really being ready to put it all out there, even though she knows she needs to. Hopefully, she'll ovum up before Faith's turkey gets too cold.
Also, I marathoned one of your story series over at FF sometime last year, but it seemed to end abruptly (after Santa exploded, I think?). Was that really the end or is it just on hiatus? I thought the setup and tone were pretty interesting and, though the angst in the central pairing began to feel a little forced, I became enamored with several of your side plots and OCs. If you're looking for motivation to continue that one, you've got this reader waiting with bated breath.
