Wow, this was really cute at the beginning, and I thought it was domestic Fuffy being adorable with each other; what with Buffy reassuring Faith that their relationship is real.
It made me sad at the end that Buffy is tricking Faith. It made the twist so much more shocking!

Poor Faith...I always thought it would be very hard/almost impossible for the two of them to get intimate after S7 and everything (Buffy has her walls up, Faith's deep self-loathing, lack of trust from either of them) and your final bit lays out why. *sigh*
I like this, very original.
