This is going really well. I like the slow progression, and the way that Willow is being such a good friend to Faith (I don't like that she's enabling Faith's smoking again, becuase that's a beyond disgusting habit, but that's a whole 'nother issue). I hope you don't take it too far, too fast. I know it's been building for 10 (actually more than 10) years, and that's a lot of UST, but if they want something to last, quick usually doesn't get you there.
One small issue: you have Faith, and then Buffy, working out with 120 and then 80 pounds as weights that would give them any kind of workout? These are supernaturally strong women, with strength far beyond that of women of similar builds as well as entire groups of men (and in fact on par with or slightly exceeding vampires). Even 'out of shape', Buffy should be benching several hundred pounds, and Faith in great shape closer to 600-800 (purely an estimate) for the number of reps she did. Remember, Buffy easily bent the (tempered steel) barrel of a rifle in one episode, and in another bent prison bars to allow passage between them (there are other examples as well).

Wow. I did not expect the ending of this chapter to be on such a positive note. Truly I was fully expecting them to dance awkwardly around each other for at least another three or four chapters before another kiss happened. I was happily surprised, this was a great ending to this chapter. In fact you could even end the story right there and it would be a hell of a good short story. Bravo.
Heh, I was kinda suprised by the unexpected kiss but I guess you gotta get the ball rolling somehow and it should happen early if this is going to be a story focused on romance. Ahhh now the dance begins... Buffy and Faith dancing around each other, in denial, dating other poeple, being awkward, until they finally cave and end up with each other. Sounds fun :)
And again I'm a huge fan of how you write Willow. She once again was a great friend and just generally awesome this chapter. More power to her.
You'd think Buffy in her thirties would have matured some and dealt with the situation calmly and not bitch-y like and stuff but well.. maybe thats asking too much :D

Hmm this was nice, felt very domestic. a guy trying to force himself on a Slayer, despite the seriousness of the situation that gave me a laugh... like that was going to happen.
I think it was also in one of your stories but I really like the Willow/Faith friendship, the two of them together are just awesome. You should totally write a Faith/Willow story sometime. Would be a nice way to spice things up no?
Poor Faith in love. I'm sure it will work out but not without a lot of drama. Good first chapter, nicely written :)
