Wow, this story was brilliant! You made me actually like Kendra, made it so natural that she would replace Buffy and become the Slayer in Sunnydale.
With a few sentences you fleshed her out, gave her character. Amazing job, truly.
And the Kendra/Faith interactions were great, so well judged
Now, if only there was a way to get a Buffy/Kendra/Faith fic going...

Fine. I was moved by their attraction. As much as this one worked, I kept waiting for Buffy to popup to get Faith's attention. It was total betrayal to fuffy!!! Hahahaha!!!

When you told me about a Faith/Kendra fic, I wasn't sure I could get down with it. I didn't see how it could work. But you did make it work, and I pretty much loved it. Add me to the list of people who even ship it now. :p
In a very quiet voice, Kendra calls, “Mr. Giles, I’m home!” She widens her eyes. “I’m sure he heard that.”
As simple as that was, I think it was my favorite part. The Kendra we know from the show was very much a by the book girl, and even though she's different here, I like that she still did what was proper . . . even if only quietly. lol
Really liked this. :) I'd be happy to read more about them if your muse leads you in that way. :p

Kendra is a strange character to write, because she had very little development on the show. All we know is she's Jamaican, lives with her Watcher, very by the book, and shy around boys. Also Mr. Pointy. I feel like if she were in the right environment she could really bloom though. Hence why I kind of want that for her. Damn you, muse. Get in line behind Omega and the Time Travelers (new band name, copyright).
Kendra and Faith? Not a pairing I ever even considered, but you made them work perfectly!!!

Refreshing. Faith crushing on Kendra cool. And damn your description of Kendra's hips and curves made me kinda want to grab her and kiss her too. Nice very nice, I really liked the alternate pairing of Faith with Kendra it was innocent and sweet.
Author's Response:Thank you! I don't know what seized me to write them but I kind of want to keep going. :p I've always had a soft spot for Kendra. She was so sweet and naive. Poor thing. I liked giving her a happier ending in fic anyway. Maybe I will pick them up again---after I finish Girl of course! :)
