Great start! Excited to see where you take this. Personally - my first instinct with the cat was to assume it may be Kendra somehow (which made me lol because of course the kitty wouldn't like Faith and of course Dawn would love it). Excited to read your older fics while I await your next chapters. *attempts to wait patiently 😶*

I have to be honest, I don't like ghost stories so much because I get scared easily. Like really. Monsters and vampires I can take, but haunted houses and ghosts make my eyes water.
I did enjoy the light tone at the beginning of the story. Also, post-S7!!! You seldom write stories after s7.
I can't wait to see how you'll unravel the mystery of that shape in Faith's room. Or the mysterious plant. Or the cat. Do you think I can skim through the scary parts to get to the answer?

i don't think you'll be TOO scared reading this. There aren't that many really scary moments.
You know of my deep and abiding hatred for seasons 6-7, which is why I rarely write post-S7, but this little idea just took hold. :) Hope you'll enjoy it. No skimming!

I bet that trunk is demonic; maybe the cat, too. Whatever it was, it's affecting Faith, & I wonder if it will turn into a possession or possible shape changing thing (like Giles turning into a demon)
Either way, I will give cookies for updates ASAP. Loves this. Moar nao.
