She is right!! I think there's a happy ending for these two. You don't have to see each other everyday to make things work, and I'm sure they'll make their time together count. :) I feel like everything is going to work out. What a great change of pace to just read a light happy fic. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I liked both coming out conversations. Joyce felt really in character with her pushing Buffy to concentrate on school. She likes Faith, but she's also not overly permissive. Giles too felt in character, especially with his little snark about showing up when they're supposed to. :p Bad slayers.
I'm glad everything went well for them. :) This is a great fluffy fic. :D
Author's Response:It took longer than I thought to write both conversations because I didn't want them to be too accepting, especially with school coming and the fact they blew off training. It is fluff though so it couldn't be too bad, right? :)

I know we're in chapter 11, but I didn't expect this to be here! :) I felt like Buffy was going to drag it out a while longer, but I'm glad she didn't. It was about time. :p That was a sweet scene, and felt perfectly paced and timed for them, and where they are. I loved how sweet Faith was to Buffy. Wish I didn't have to head to sleep now, and I could finish getting caught up. Maybe you can add some more chapters before I do? :D

Author's Response:I thought I could make Faith a little more grounded and a little less unstable here since she never had a big falling out with Buffy and the rest of them. I hope it makes the slow progression of their relationship a little more believable, too. :)

I liked Buffy wanting to make new steps, because Faith needs those reassurances. Darn it, my lunch break is over and I have to stop reading for now. :(

Cute, fluffy adorableness. I loved their first date. :) I love Faith for moving at a glacial speed just to make Buffy comfortable. It reminds me of watching the show, because this is the kind of progression we'd see from the early years on Buffy. It's moving just right, and I'm loving it.
Author's Response:With what I was trying to do, it wouldn't make sense to go right from first date to nakedness. This way Faith can show off her romantic side. :)

Excited to be proven wrong and to see Buffy treating Faith well and not doing her spazzing Buffy in denial thing. I like things progressing like normal teenage girls. Not that I don't like the more dramatic enemies to lovers stuff, it's just nice to have something a little fluffier. :)
Author's Response:I'm all about the fluffiness with this one and didn't want Buffy to spaz. She needs to accept some Faith-love every once and a while. And as for Willow, well, it needed to be said. lol
Poor, sweet, clueless Buffy. :p It's nice to see Faith willing to make the first move. It really shows how close they've become and how much she trusts Buffy. I hope Buffy doesn't let her down, but I suspect there will be wigging coming our way next chapter. Now I am off to find out!!
Author's Response:Ha, ha, I kind of love writing Buffy a little clueless about any signals Faith throws her way initially. I thought it made more sense for Faith to step up with the moves, too. :)

Ah, but, Buffy, the teen years are when everything horribly embarrassing happens! A few years in SD is plenty of time to rack up serious embarrassment. :)
