Well it seems the path is sorta clear now... I'm glad jack came to his senses,,, it's not fun being in a one sided relationship, in fact it sucks! So jack was right to let Buffy go! He was being a bit of a dick but I guess when u r that desperately in love you do and say stupid things to keep a hold of something.. Even if it equates to nothing :(
Buffy will do well not to jump into anything with faith; faith has a lot to prove to Buffy so that when the time is right they can be together.. How god intended it! Hehe! Looking forward to the next chapter(s)! :)))))))

The slayer dream was just lovely to read.
I see a pattern emerging: when buffy and faith do the dirty, instead of basking they end up arguing!
So the 'easy' way out is for Buffy to let Jack keep walking... in a way it would probably be best for all...
I hope Faith does come out of her coma... and that its soon... very soon!

I wonder if Faith had said anything to Buffy on her WEDDING DAY (!) about her feelings of love how much of a difference that would make... I'm trying to put myself in Buffy's shoes and if someone I once loved told me they wanted to be with me on my wedding day i would have just told them its too late... Luckily no such thing did happen!
Anyway I digress (again!) I'm still with you on this fic and I'm intrigued to know what has happened to Faith and really wonder when Jack is gonna wake up and smell the coffee... he's so badly in denial it's uncomfortable!
Buffy being pregnant is adding so much more complexity to this saga and i'm looking forward to see how you take this story forward.

Ahh, the what ifs of life, they plague us all.
hmmmmm... I'm not too happy with Buffy now! She's a bit of a bitch! Never thought I'd say that about her but this chapter has shone a lot of light onto Jack's character and he hasnt been anything short of amazing to Buffy.
I feel sorry for the guy, I do, but at the same time he did go into this saga with his eyes wide open... Buffy couldn't stop banging on about Faith from the moment they met, to their first date and now whilst they're married! RED FLAGS all over the place Jack!!!
But i guess it all falls back onto the notion that we cant help who we fall in love with...

Uh oh! I had a feeling that stupid history was gonna go and stupidly repeat it's stupid's self! Huff!!!
At first I was pretty miffed with Buffy but I'm totally on her side now. Faith is being a spoilt brat IMO!! She just keeps running away and and expecting Buffy to be there to scratch that itch... cos that's all it is...!
Faith's reaction in the flashback and then the present day is totally out of order...
BUT... there's always a stupid BUT! You can't help who you love and although I'm screaming at Buffy that Faith is an idiot, I kinda, to a very small degree, but a degree none-the-less, get where she's coming from. *sigh*
Love is bitch... sometimes!
I feel sorry Jack, but if it turns out he's also screwing around (bowling? a likely story!) then I don't!
Oh god! I feel down in the dumps now! Gonna cry in my pillow!!

Aaaarrgghhh!!! its just so goddam frustrating knowing they could have avoided having this affair... i really want to know what the hell happened to get them in this situation...
so it would seem from the flashback that Faith was willing to give the relationship a go... so what did she do in order to drive buffy into the arms of another person and to end up marrying that person? grrr.. i guess I'll inch closer to that question as i read more!
I loved the conversation between willow and buffy - it struck a chord with me...
And cant deny that the opening of this chapter was great! Its how every chapter of every fuffy fic should commence!!!

My instincts were right! I like this story A LOT!
I like how the story isnt told chronologically - you write it really well.
I'm trying to write something with a similar narrative - in some parts it's quite similar to what I'm writing, which is a lil spooky! But at the same time what I'm writing is quite different... so fear not! Also it is an AU fic.
Anyway going off on a tangent there, I'm really eager to find out how Buffy and Faith got to the point where they are having an affair, when they could have been together from the outset... makes me wonder about the integrity of their 'relationship'... Are they having the affair cos its exciting and non commitment-y? Well actually I guess integrity goes outta the window when you cheat on your husband/wife! Ah going off on another tangent!
So back to you... I'll read the next chapter soon and will leave a comment and try not to go off on any tangents!

Oooo I really like this fic so far...
I'm a bit confused on how the chapter has ended though.. After the TBC there is a random conversation (seems to be a flashback) but it seems a little out of context?? Or maybe I'm reading it wrong..
That aside... I enjoyed reading this and get the feeling it'll be up there amongst the handful of favourite fuffy fics I have read in recent times.
