Welcome! :D And I'm glad you've arrived because I really liked this. I think a lot about how I'd like to read fics that actually deal with the trauma we know Faith experienced (and the trauma that is fanon) in real ways, but I don't recall having read any that actually have her experience PTSD or be triggered. I love that you chose this as your anniversary. I liked the focus on Faith's feelings about Buffy trying to kill her, because so often we write Faith as just totally forgiving of it without question. Here, she forgives, but she struggles with the forgetting part. And it's not about hating or blaming Buffy. I'm rambling but I think you get my point that I thought this was really good? :)

I liked that Buffy remembered too. I would think almost killing another person would be totally devastating to her as a slayer, but we didn't see much of her feelings about stabbing Faith on the show. This makes much more sense to me. It feels like how Buffy should have felt but we never saw it. And of course, getting together is always good. :)

I loved Xander's totally embarassing confession about having heard the two of them. I could see him saying it, haha. Also Buffy's reaction was hilarious. :) I'm glad you wrote for the contest! Wish we could see more from you, but I'm happy we get the occasional gem. :D

I really liked this! So cute, especially this part:

"We weren't flirting!" Buffy argued vehemently, as she looked at the rest of the gang, who either appeared, amused, bored, or just confused.

"Wait, what?"

I see that it's from a prompt so this is probably all there is, but you've introduced these interesting plot threads and umm so you should probably not leave them dangling, but instead write oh, 6, 12 more chapters. Yes, I think that sounds about right. :D

Well, firstly, I love this. You are SO good at weaving together a little bite size piece that just hits me right in the face. But now to my second point, why are you so mean? This deserves another chapter! I want to see Faith kicking ass and living and helping with Glory! Love the idea that the Council would still find Faith for her birthday present, sadistic fucks that they are. Love that Buffy and the Scoobs cared enough to come through, especially since I know you wrote Buffy as in a place to forgive Faith now, but even if she had still been furious, I feel like she'd show up to save her anyway. Ugh! Breaking my heart here. 😭😭😭 Thank you for writing and sharing. Do you have any new multichap stuff I should seek out? I need moar. 😊
