Not sure. I'm setting too high a standard for myself :3 I'm also hoping that the angsty Faith stuff isn't going overboard; I don't know if I could write a Buffy-centric chapter because I barely relate to her and I relate to Faith more than words can say! :)

I can say with certainty that most of the best plotlines have been better than I could hope to attempt :3 what with my issues of mapping out multichapter fic successfully.

Buffy was in a bad place emotionally prior to the killing of Kennedy. She went thorugh some deep life stuff, got into a relationship and was dumped by Satsu a person who she knew adored her, Faiith comes back in her life and she reels from realisation that Giles is working with the other slayer and is happy, she picks a fight with Faith, but that ends with Faith's buttons getting pushed and her attempting to drown Buffy. Buffy survives, but is deeply scarred by the confrontation as (in my own little world) she thinks yet again the world is being harsh and uncaring toward her, Faith has thrown her universe upside-down as the *** SPOILER ALERT 4 NEXT CHAPTER *** revelation Satsu aludes to (reason she dumped Buffy) is why she can't deal with the relationship she has with Faith. She lost her way in wanting to push everyone in her life away and started going off the rails, ignoring her friends, other slayers, going out all night, roughing up demons (more than usual), heavily beating informants of all species and just not giving a shit really. Enter Kennedy trying the fuck with her stuff when all she wants to do is be left alone.

Sorry for the slight spoiler there, but it is good to get that out. As it was my first attempt at fiction its great to have these questions and comments so I can work on being a better writer and show more depth in my stories to give readers a fuller picture.

Four years?!? You have like... four stories from me plus the end of The Other Woman. 😂😂😂 You know how slow I am though, maybe you should pace yourself. Interestingly enough, I am currently staying in a little lakeside boathouse without running water, having a lovely vacation, so I totally relate to your cabin vacation nostalgia. Although I haven't been reading fanfic. I've just been napping and enjoying being in a space that isn't my house after 6+ months of quarantine. 😂
