one thing i'd suggest, google "There, Their, They're" and read up on what they do.

Uping the stakes with guns was Trick's idea, it seemed like something he would do, being a modern vampire and always thinking outside the box.
(although I did rationalise away why vampires don't usually use guns, them being bad shots and not in their nature, that's why Trick was packing an Uzi!)

Oof, yeah...I winced when I was writing that, but I think Faith's been through enough for the time being...Buffy's turn!

I know! I too need happy endings in my life (which has very few) and the sequel will some happiness.
I did want a little bit of hope at the end of it, after all Buffy did have some good experiences to go with her heartbreak.
Yeah...the abruptness was kind of a flaw because I changed the plot half-way through writing...*doh*
But the stuff with the Djinn will be built upon in the stories to come.

Thanks, Azirahael. You're right, Buffy has a tendency to do that, at least in fic. I think it's a way a lot of writers show that Faith has grown, because there's Buffy making odd decisions or being indecisive or flights, and there's Faith, steadfast and patient. Definitely a sign of her growing maturity. And I do love me some mature Faith! :p
