Faith's turning 18 in jail, which is a good opportunity for the Council to dust off the cruciamentum and get rid of a useless Slayer without having to break protocol. Unless Buffy finds time to get involved, in the midst of all the Dracula magical key sister hellgod mess.

With newfound inspiration, Faith leaves prison to forge a new, full life for herself in L.A., determined to redeem herself by action instead. Faith's decision sets her once again in the wrathful sights of Buffy Summers.

Buffy kisses Faith one last time and jumps into Glory's portal. She's prepared to die but instead wakes up in a strange new world. This is the companion to Flowers for a Ghost and tells the story of what happened to the Buffy from that universe.

Sequel to Summer.  With the first year of college complete, Buffy is free to turn her full attention back to her relationship with Faith but there may be some obstacles along the way.
