Oooh interesting! Good start
Like that Buffy visited Faith in hospital. That's the one thing that pissed me off most about the show: that Buffy, or anyone, never visited Faith while she was in her coma.
Am glad that Buffy was there when Faith woke up too, and that her, Giles and Joyce are gonna help Faith out. Happy that Faith is willing to accept their help also!
So Buffy is with Riley atm, so she'll have to break up with him once she realises she is into Faith... This makes me happy :)
Looking forward to the next update!!!
Author's Response:Thanks cookie! Yeah, that whole situation kinda pissed me off too. I mean, it's not like Faith was Miss Innocent but it made me sad that she was alone, you know? Bah. But now I get a chance to rectify it :D Sweet, sweet fanfiction.

Wow this is exciting; a new fic from Electra! As far as I'm concerned you're like Fuffy fan fiction royalty or a celebrity or something. By which I mean you've written a lot of long, great stories that are all super enjoyable and of awesome high caliber. So seeing you start a new story is very exctiting!
So far this first chapter is intreauging; definatelly a nice hook for the story. If only people in canon had cared about Faith this much right? Things coulda been so different. The whole Buffy/Joyce/Giles 'ambush' of Faith seemed a little over the top but I mean that in a good way. It for sure worked and something like that had to happen to make Faith giving in 'believable'.
This so far is a little different from any other fic I've read and I can't wait to see where you take it. Also exctiting is waiting to see what 'bad decisions' Faith ends up making! By the way with the title of the story and the yellow eyes on the banner, are you saying Faith is gonna get turned into a werewolf? That would definatelly be different.

I too wish Faith had been a bit more cared for and looked after. Seriously, she makes it to Sunnydale on her own while being chased by an ancient vamp, then lives alone in a crappy motel and no one seems to care? How shitty was that!! I have some rights to wrong in this story, as well as a few twists and turns that I hope will keep things interesting. Yellow eyes, you say? Hmm. I have been starved, starved I tell you, for Electra fic. I was so excited to read this, and it didn't disappoint. :) This was a great start. I loved Buffy going to visit Faith and continuing to check in on her. Loved her doing personal care stuff for Faith, which I'd never thought of.
Joyce and Giles were great, and I'm happy to see Giles taking some responsibility for Faith. I know he had been fired and all that jazz, but anyone could see her life was a wreck. Obviously Wesley sucked too, but I really put most of the blame on Giles. *shakes fist at him*
I'm excited to see where it goes from here. Well, I know where it goes, but I mean I'm excited to see it unfold! There are other 'Faith wakes up,' type fics that I love, but I'm looking forward to this one because I know it's going in a completely different direction. :)
Poor Faith. It must be so overwhelming for her right now. I'm curious if she remembers those dreams with Buffy, or she's just playing along because it stops her from getting turned in to the council. I guess I'll find out next week!

'Faith wakes up' is one of my most favorite kinds of stories. Here's hoping I can do it justice. And yes, this one will have quite a different take on it, as you know. :D Things are gonna get hairy. *titters*

This is a very intriguing setup. I like the idea of having Buffy visit Faith while she was in a coma. It seems very believable that she would do that because she wants to repay Faith for how she helped them. Added bonus of having Joyce there because "she's mom". Love it!
