I liked the conversation between Buffy and Faith. Seemed so natural. Forced conversations are the hardest to read. Badly written can be pretty hard to read. This one was easy. I loved the simple bantering. Like two friends being awkward after not talking for ages. Then Faith offers the friends with benefits thing, and it's like I'm sitting there cringing in anxiety as I wait for Buffy's reaction. Then that kiss, and fantasies. Loved it!
You know it feels like this is the first time I'm reading all of these posted stories. Refreshing, in a weird kind of way. Horray for reasons for rereading great fluffy stories! I didn't know I haven't reviewed this fic. Trying to look at the date it was posted. Must have been one of those days when the earth swallowed me. But now I've been spitted out. Yay!
As an added bonus for your struggles in getting this one posted, I thought I'd better leave you a review tonight. *coughsuckingupcough* Ahem, what was that? Must be getting sick again. Anyway! I haven't read this one before, and it was adorable. I loved Buffy's utter grossness. I'm gonna assume there's self insertion here and you are a snotty, gross cryer. :D Is it true? Inquiring minds want to know.
I loved this line:

And it sounds sadly accurate for slayers of yesteryear. Also loved the inside joke on Buffy's driving abilities. Every time someone mentions it, I just think of Principal Snyder, "Summers! You drive like a spaz!" Haha!
Author's Response:Wow, who knew you could be such a suck up, lady? *laughs* not that i mind, of course. I love this fic just for the snotty, gross crying. And yes, I may be a gross, snotty crier, too. Luckily I'm an emotionless robot and those moments are rare though.
I also am a fan of any and all references to Buffy's driving (in)abilities. I'm pretty sure I find a way to squeeze it in every story :)
I'll plan on adding another story over my lunch break, slowly but surely until all my stuff is up here. Gotta post those banners, too.
