Wow! Just wow! I seriously need you to continue this! Probably one of the best fics I have ever read! It has everything you need for a story to be compelling and good! Good plot, good OCs (my heart broke for Kim) and, man, the baby zombies? Creepy as fuck and damn brilliant! How come no one has ever thought of that in all those zombie movies, comics and books? They are completely defenseless! Of course they are gonna be the first and creepiest zombies! Faith and Buffy on a motorcycle is really a big plus so... Please, pretty please, I need a new fic in this series! Kudos, Alice! (don't know your real name so I'm just gonna assume you're a girl/woman called Alice and not some dude)

Haha! I am, in fact, a woman, although Alice is just a pen name. 😂😊 You have no idea how much I loved writing Omega and wish I had the drive to do the sequel I wanted to do back in the day. I don't want to make promises I don't keep, so to be honest with you, it's super unlikely that I'll ever get back to this. I have two long fics in process, plus the final few chapters of The Other Woman are still awaiting completion. Who knows how long it will take me to get through these? Lol. But I really appreciate you reading it and taking the time to leave a comment! Zombie apocalypse is basically my favorite genre ever and I loved living in that world with Buffy and Faith, especially with this being the only fic I've done in first person POV. I can't take credit for baby zombies though! There is only in the Dawn of the Dead remake from... 2005 was it? And I'm sure they're in other stuff too. 

"What are we doing?" I manage to ask, when she let me take a breath.

"Does it matter?"

It does, if she's just going to do what she did last time. I can't let her keep pulling me in and then pushing me away. "No," I lie, and kiss her again. We're about to go on what's probably a suicide mission, so I might as well spend my last day where I want to be.

I was super sad when I read this part, because it really showed that Faith's sense of self-worth is still not the greatest, but when she later stopped herself to ask Buffy again what was going on between them, I was so proud of our girl :')! I like how you ended things with their relationship in this fic. It was very realistic. I would have been disappointed if you had had them say "I love you" to one another when the time they spent together for the duration of the fic did not call for love declarations. Faith has obviously been into Buffy since day 1, but Buffy never even considered Faith as a possibility until the zombie apocalypse broke out. I think it was appropriate and very in-character for Buffy to acknowledge that she DOES feel something for Faith, and that she wants to give what they have a shot, but her muddled feelings are still not sorted enough to neatly label as "romantic love." 

Since Fuffy is my OTP, I can obviously see them getting together, but not at this ending point in the fic. They need more time to get to know each other better and develop their relationship.

Thank you for writing this story! It's hard to find well-written, in-character fanfics about Buffy and Faith. I find myself digging through lots of fics and coming out less than satisfied when I realize I've wasted my time on a fic that didn't do them or a realistic development of their romantic relationship justice. But this one definitely left me with a good feeling!

I'll check out more of your stuff! You seem to "get" these characters.

Omni, you are lovely and I want you to read all the things! Thank you so much for leaving all these reviews! I'm glad you liked where Buffy and Faith ended in this one. Sometimes something less than the ultimate happy ending leaves people disappointed but I like the more open ending. This fic moved really fast so they didn't have the time to totally get there, just like you said. To send you in the direction of a fic that definitely doesn't disappoint... have you read The Girls in Question series by TigerDragon? It's my all time favorite--so well written, engaging plot, Buffy and Faith just right. If you haven't read it yet, you're in for a treat! :) Once again, thank you! Just re-read this and it was just as good as I remembered!  But I had forgotten that you killed ALL of the Scoobies! (Not Tara I guess but still!). The feels, man, the feels!

All of your work is so good I can hardly stand it  I've  been re-read them all this weekend while at a cabin in the woods with no TV and crappy Internet. So I haven't reviewed them all, but all are perfect 10s.
