A bit of an abrupt shift in relationship dynamics, but not a jarring one.

(And while the relationship part of the plot does find resolution, the initial plothook that led to that interaction is unresolved. I suppose this is more subjective, but I've always found greater satisfaction from proper resolution, than from more ambiguous endings).

I've only got minor nitpicks, though; on the whole I enjoyed the experience, and will probably come back to read this again.

Did Joyce really die on February 27th? If so weird. That's my birthday. Had a lot of folks who I'm fond of die on that day. Very well written fic. Funny and heartwarming. 

You know, you've been writing this pairing for so long I think their voices probably just reside in your head. :)

I really enjoy your fuffy. And loved Faiths bitching about the cold. Also can I say props to thieving Faith for me that was the best. Thanks for nearly drowning Buffy. Good story. 

E, this story reminds me so much of why I fell in love with fuffy. I blame you. Your oneshots and short stories always make my heart ache for these two.

I loved the setting. Alaska. Snow. Almost frozen Faith. Can I say I missed your Faith and Buffy voice? Right away I imagined a scene with blankets and bodies being warmed underneath. Naked bodies >:)

I was half expecting that this would be a light story full of fluffy moments, but you surprised me. I didn't expect that the anniversary you'd be using was Joyce's death. That explains the melancholia enveloping Buffy.

Faith, dear Faith. And the fear and regret she the felt when Buffy fell down the river. Ah... I really enjoyed this story. I wish you'd write more often.

Hi, glad to see you're still writing Buffy/Faith stories. Used to read your stories on Dylan's site, life got in the way and lost my way in the Fuffy world for awhile lol... anyways, recently got back into it and your work is the first one i looked up. Great as always, you'never cease to amaze met. You are awesome! I look forward to reading more of your new stories. 

This was such a good mix of funny and poignant. I loved it! I trust Faith's nipples have recovered by the end? I loved following Faith's disgruntled musings through the Alaskan frontier. Props to her for trying to talk to Buffy and mostly managing not to take the bait she was offered.

I am still mad you almost killed Buffy. Wasn't one drowning enough? But I guess I forgive you because the scenes after that were so great. I liked Faith taking charge and getting Buffy warm again. I thought Buffy's feelings about Joyce and having 'erased' her were so sad and realistic. I couldn't imagine how it would work out that they could find anything else from the house, but it worked perfectly that Faith had taken a couple things. It was sweet and believable and I could totally picture it all happening. I am excited to see what you come up with next. Hint, hint, you are not on break now. I want the next fic!! :D

This is really, really fun. A little Fuffy wilderness adventure that encapulates why I so love these two post-Chosen.

Love the premise, Faith's almost constant bitching (so funnt btw!) the snowmobiles, the abandoned log cabin, the sniping back and fortyh, the flirting, the near drowning that leads (naturally) to body heat sharing.

And all the snark and defensiveness was there to see, from both of them, and it was a refreshing change to see Faith doing the pushing/friendliness thing, in a completely Faith-like way.

Poor Buffy, I kind of guessed why she was so sad, being that it was a year after Sunnydale went caput, but it was still heartbreaking when she opened up and had a good cry about all those memories of her Mom that she'd lost.

But...that ending, with Faith finding out that being a little light-fingered can be a force for good!

Very sweet, very moving and made me feel warm inside (and bizarrely quite Christmassy- must be the whole snow/ice theme. :P)
