I know that most fanfics are all the wooing and 'First Time' stuff, and I know you have a sequel for this, but please would you consider putting your amazing Fuffy talents to a long series where they're already together and it's not about babies or miscommunications, but about showing what an amazing couple these two characters should have been for each other, how they complimented each other so perfectly despite TPTB keeping them apart..

Author's Response:The story I'm working on curreny is a very long one, which follows Buffy and Faith from first meeting, but they do have an established relationship for some time. Very much a friends to lovers situation, so I think you'll like that one quite a bit! I've been going a bit slower the past few months, but I hope to finish the story and start posting within the new few months.
I love this snowy tundra. My fav part is when Buffy thinks the other inmates are being sweet to granny by not changing the channel on the tv and Faith squeezes her leg because she thinks it's cute. Such a great dynamic between these two and I loved their interaction. Glad there's a sequel and I wouldn't mind a few more.

Alright, so I can't sleep. My wife is asleep next to me and I figured... why not read some fic. It's been awhile.
damn. This was a really good story for a return to fic. I kept picturing them on some show like Naked and Afraid mixed with one of those plane crash films where the two survivors fall in love.
I love Faiths inner monologue. It's her to a T. Or what I assume her would be like.
Now, I just want to know more about Franklin and what his backstory is. Also, does he actually like Buffy?!?

As for Franklin, he's a particular fish. Perhaps I need to write a third part to this story which is from Franklin's perspective. How does he like Buffy, what gift does she bring him, etc.

Even though I knew this fic was coming it still caught me off guard during the week. I relished the fact it took me a few days to get through. Steeping me into a lore we've convinced ourselves is the true cannon, decades after this show has been over.
I'm a fan of Faith vs Satsu sub-narratives, that thread of jealousy is so rich. This was a well formatted adventure that made me think all the characters were genuinely in danger 80% of the time 😲
You've inspired me to have a crack at writing again over the Christmas period. I'm nowhere near as talented as yourself and the other writers, but I'll give it a good go. If the story comes out good enough, I'll post it.
Author's Response:Thank you! The pandemic totally motivated me to write again after several years of barely writing anything. The complete lack of any social engagements, plus the fact that I used to travel for work and now I don't leave home completely freed up my schedule.🤣 So for me, the year has been a bit less crappy than it otherwise would have been.
It is pretty amazing that there are still people interested in writing/reading not only for BtVS in general, but for our relatively small part of the fandom. Do you have a plot bunny you've had waiting in the wings, or are you starting something completely new? I admit to being somewhat weird in that I don't usually read much fic (or at least I don't anymore, I used to), but if you post something I'll definitely check it out!!
I too like the Faith jealousy re: Satsu. I guess the comics were good for something...

A 'oneshot' of 22k, now that's a treat! Loved it, thank you! The cutest part ( or at least one of them), when Buffy remembers Faith on the porch @christmas...even I remember that shot. Quintessential to the real Faith and her relationship with Buffy.
