I made the mistake of reading this before sleep...cos man oh man was I paranoid and definitely had some nightmares. Like hearing screams and actually seeing water in my dreams but that made the aftermath of having read your story so much better.
That's how I know that what I just consumed was vivid and profound enough to leave an impact. Awesome Halloween, this combined with chapter 8 of strings really set the mood for the holiday.
