Good story! Always nice to see things work out between Buffy and Faith, even if Willow's magic went a little wonky. Andrew and Xander though...
I had read this one before and enjoyed it, so had to read it again. Although I think that Faith's reaction at the end was a bit (more than a bit) overboard (trying to kill Willow was a bit much for a reformed Faith), I can understand her being upset by them interfering with and manipulating her life.
The various dream sequences were quite interesting, especially Giles as Frank N Furter. I saw a couple of reviewers mentioned this that they could picture that, and you mention Anthony Head's performance with Amber Benson. He also starred in that role for a year or so in the early 90s, with Craig Ferguson as Brad in fact. So he was well suited to his part in the dream.
I also caught some of the non-American phrasings in this, but they weren't that 'bad', certainly not as jarring as some that I have read (no bonnets or boots of cars, people saying whilst, etc.). The main time that bugs me is in the dialog, but I don't recall any in this story.
Looking forward to reading more of your writings.
Author's Response:Thank you! Sorry for delayed response, been a little busy elsewhere. Faith's reaction probably was a little overboard, but it was also why everyone else was a bit "wtf?" when she did get a little madder than normal. :P My Americanisms aren't amazing at the moment, but one day ...
Wow. Didn't expect that. I had trouble keeping up with the dream sequence. I will have to reread this. or maybe that was your intention? To take us to wonderland, where rain falls upside down. It felt like I was walking down that dizzying hallway alongside them.
I am so used to reading simple story lines that I expected this to follow the usual flow. Glad you made it different. I didn't know where you were taking us. I wish there was more sex involved, but that's just me. Hahaha!
I was laughing a lot, especially when Andrew said that he wrote fan fiction about Buffy and Faith. Made me giggle whenever fanfic was mentioned. I wish I was witness to the eye-sex. Darn. Sometimes imagination isn't enough when you can read them in stories like this.
Author's Response:Hai! Sorry I've not been on too much, it's been a manic couple of weeks for me, but hopefully I can sort out all my internet backlog and get to reviewing for you guys. :) I did want to make the dream sequence disorientating, but if you found it too strange, I don't mind taking a look to see if it can be straightened out, so to speak.
Sorry about the lack of sex, I promise to write more soon. To be honest, writing those kind of scenes is still new for me. It originally had more detail, but then I freaked and got rid of some of it. I should learn to not freak over it. D:
Andrew and Fan fics - it could happen, jus' saying! But yeah, writing that part was super fun. It's sort of the way a friend and I do things if we're setting each other writing challenges. You know: "Do a fic where they fall madly in love because of this and this!"
Imagination is awesome. It's also a cheap excuse we use when we can't be bothered to write too much of a scene... :P
Thanks so much for the review <3

I don't even know how many times I lol'd reading this. Like Xander, I am traumatized by the image of Giles dressed like Tim Curry. Mine eyes, Squee! Mine eyes! I could see Tony Head playing that part though. :p Although, if Giles wasn't involved in the original plan... Who initiated that dream? I'm gonna guess Andrew.
I actually hate Kennedy, but you made her bearable here. Yes, go beat up Buffy's exes. That makes you tolerable. Good work. Loved Willow's spell being screwed up, and the idea of a magic proof panic room. That's actually probably a good idea in general.
The most hilarious thing for me was the fanfic meta, especially Xander's and Kennedy's reactions to it. Hilarious. So good I read it aloud to my gf and she loved it too. :D
My only criticism is that a few places don't match American speak. We don't get on, we get along. That's probably the most glaring example. Otherwise, a wonderful funny little fic. :) You need to post morrrrre.
Author's Response:Hello! I've been away doing, you know, stuff, and a friend moved in upstairs, and work is chaos with people going sick, and, and...
Anyway. Yeah, I'm afraid my Americanspeak isn't too good yet, but I am trying, so thanks for pointing out that! Glad you found it pretty funny. I wanted to write a comedy for a while, because there are so many good rofl fics out there. :P
Tony Head did play that part, by the way. On a Rocky Horror Show annual singalong show, he (and Amber Benson!) sang pieces, and both dressed up/down for the occasion. There are some bad quality clips on youtube that show these if you want proof. BUT YOU MIGHT WANT TO BURN OUT YOUR EYES.
Andrew might have initiated the dream...
Most people tend to hate Kennedy, or make her out to be a total bitch, but I kind of like writing her when making her obviously butch/defensive, but she is kind of like a mini Faith - which makes their characters clash, I guess. :(
Loved writing the derp fan fic fourth wall stuff, I think a lot of us can relate to it somewhat... but was sort of worried people had a chance of taking offence to it. Seems so far you guys like it! :D Am flattered as well you found it funny enough to read out loud to your gf!
*Dances around*
