Sleight of Hand
INCREDIBLE! I know I'm like 10 years late to the party, but I would do unspeakable, mayor-level evil deeds to get the sequel. Or any other content from you! Wonderful story, beautiful characterizations, and more fluffy fuffy content than I could have hoped for.
Hell yes
Great story!
Author's Response:Thank you!

That was amazing! You had a perfect balance of intense storyline and fuffy. I loved that you maintained the angst all BTVS fans love, but with a different twist to the usual Buffy or faith freak out about their feelings.
I I hope you write more in this storyline!
loved the story and i realy hope to read that sequal someday
This story is amazing and I would love to see where this story goes with a sequel. Thanks so much for sharing your work!
Oh, Faith. Don't you know by now that you don't have to run away when things get big and scary? You've got Buffy and the super friends by your side now.
Seriously, though, this was a super sweet ending to an awesome story and I am thoroughly ashamed I didn't read it when you originally wrote it! I would totally read a sequel to this if you wrote one, but I know I also have Walk the Line part 2 to catch up on, and I was very impressed by the first couple of chapters of Chase the Moon, so really, whatever you want to work on, I'll read it! :)
Author's Response:Kasey! You are a reading and reviewing superhero. Seriously, you have no idea how cool it was to see all those review alerts. You're awesome!
I'm so happy you liked the story. I think (possibly?) that it was the last time I finished a many-chaptered fic. I really have to work on another one instead of all these darn one-shots. :)
I'm still unsure on whether I'll ever get to the sequel I was planning, Twist of Fate, but it's still a contender in the many ideas I have vying for attention. Here's hoping the muse will let me focus on one and run with it!
Thanks again, Kasey. You're the bomb!
Well gosh!
:P
That was a whole hell of a lot of fun. Very nice rewrite of the end of Graduation Day, my friend! I especially liked Faith and Dawn and Buffy tag-teaming it to lure the Mayor into the library. And I really want to know who this mailman friend of Oz's is who has access to flamethrowers and harpoon guns and stuff.
I hope Faith is okay after being tossed into the bookshelves. There's only one chapter left, so I don't think she'll have too much permanent damage. Buffy will just have to nurse her back to health, now won't she? Although... is the Council off their backs for good now, even though Faith is still alive?
Omfg Oz! "Mailman." What the actual hell? Haha!
I'm glad they're finally putting the pieces together and getting down to business to take down the Mayor. It's been a long time coming, even if Buffy and Faith were out of the Sunnydale picture for a little while.
I loved the awkwardness of Buffy and Angel's conversation. Kinda reminded me of the cookie dough analogy. And i love that even though Buffy is still a spaz, she's mature enough here to tell everyone that yes, there is something between her and Faith, but no, it's none of their business.
Can't wait to see how you'll wrap this up in two chapters!
I LOVE the way you're fucking with canon in this story. I love how you've harkened back to Buffy and Faith's shared dream where Dawn's existence ("Little Miss Muffet") and Buffy's death ("counting down from 7-3-0") were first foreshadowed. I love how the three sisters and the three Slayers are gonna fuck up the Council's shit so hard!
Ahem.
I may not be the Council's biggest fan ever.
I am, however, a big ol' Dawn fan, and I can't help but feel for her a bit. First, her sister and sister-Slayer take turns beating her up for "training," and now, she has to listen to them having morning sex because she has super hearing? Poor Dawn.
Hmm... red, yellow, and green. Is Dawn the key? Or something else? I'm still going with my theory that the three sisters created her just to mess with everyone. But why would the memory-altering magic spread nationwide?
