A simple artifact retrieval mission goes wrong, leaving Buffy and Faith stranded in the wilderness without a way to call for help. With a blizzard coming in, they have to work together to survive.

Post-Chosen, with some storylines from the comics included. Mostly I've mangled them to suit my needs. 

As Christmas approaches, Faith's stuck on a slaying mission. Buffy's back at the castle, moping and making it rain tinsel. Fortunately, Giles (with an assist from Andrew) has some Christmas magic up his sleeve.

This is Christmas 2005, set about nine months after Afterglow. You don't have to read Shivery and Afterglow to enjoy this, but there are a few reference to the earlier stories.
